The Monarch Butterfly has been placed on The Endangered Species List! Milkweed is the only plant where Monarchs lay their eggs and the only food Monarch caterpillars eat before becoming a chrysalis and changing into the beautiful Monarch Butterfly.
Monarchs need milkweed continuously along their migration from Mexico to Canada. That’s over 3000 miles! Planting milkweed will sustain their migration and promote reproduction.
Project Monarch Butterfly is dedicated to re-establishing milkweed habitat for our beloved Monarch butterflies, one plant at a time. We are asking you to join us by planting milkweed in your yard, neighborhood or local area.
